“All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey is an entertaining song that is loved all over the world. If fact, the official Video of the song was viewed on YouTube 793 million times when it was first released fifteen years ago and people are still enjoying it today.

This song is so popular that it even has it’s own Wikipedia page! This page is is filled with many more interesting details than I have room for in this post, but one thing that struck me as interesting was the list of musical instruments that the song incorporates including piano, drums, violin, oboe, flute, and bass effect, and cowbells.

Cowbells? I guess the reason I have never noticed the sound of cowbells because all the instruments sound so good together in this song, that individual one’s don’t stand out as much as they do in other songs. However, now that the cowbells have been called to my attention I am going to listen for them every time i hear this song in the future.

Did you notice the cowbells? If you did or have any other thoughts about this song please leave a comment and tell me whatever is on your mind.
